HENDERSONVILLE - Flossie S. Lawson, 76, of Hendersonville formerly of Aiken, SC died Saturday August 14, 2004 at the Laurels of Hendersonville.

She was a native of Whitmire, SC and lived in Hendersonville for the past four years. She was a daughter of the late George Von Sizemore and Annie Lou Hall Sizemore. She retired from Winn Dixie as a bookkeeper in 1977 after 20 years. She was a Charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Aiken, SC. She was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by two daughters Patricia Harney of Lexington, SC, and Sarah Hemmings and her husband Chris of Hendersonville; four grandchildren Eric and Evan Harney, Kay and Bob Hemmings. Two sisters Joyce Quinn of Aiken, SC and Jean Scott of Buffalo, SC.

A service will be held on Monday August 16, 2004 at 2:00 PM at George Funeral Homes Historic Downtown Chapel 211 Park Avenue SW Aiken the Rev Rodney Powell will officiate. Burial will follow in Aiken Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
