Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today in Charlie, Texas, Cemetery with Charles Parker of Vernon officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
Mrs. Baker was born April 20, 1911, in Gassville, Ark. She and Bowie Berry Baker were married Aug. 5, 1931, in Okfuskee, Okla. He died March 19, 1977. She was a retired ordained Pentecostal preacher and homemaker. She served at two churches in Wichita Falls in the 1960s and had been a resident of Vernon for three years.
Survivors include four sons, Billy Baker of Amarillo, Texas, Louie Baker of Canyon, Texas, Lucky Baker of Vernon and George Baker of Sparta, Wis.; two daughters, Shirley Steward of Fort Worth and Diana Knight of Watuga, Texas; 28 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
