SHADY SPRING, W.Va. Virda Inez Nash Freeman, 74, passed away Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, W.Va. She was the daughter of the late Logan Otto Nash and Ida Elizabeth Osborne Nash; also preceded in death by her daughter, Phyllis Freeman; two brothers, William Ralph Banner Nash and Hogue Everette Nash. Survivors include her husband, Dallas Ray Freeman, Shady Spring; one sister, Elizabeth Louise Cox, Taylor Mill, Ky.; one brother, Kenneth Boyd Nash, Hanover, Pa.; granddaughter, Erin Nicole Fabian, Baltimore; grandson, Brandon Michael Freeman, Shady Spring; three great-grandchildren; two nephews, one niece and great-nephews and nieces. Visitation for Virda Inez Freeman will be held after 5 Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, at Estes Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held at Estes Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m., with Elder Giles Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Nash Cemetery in Wise, Va. Arrangements are being handled by Estes Funeral Home, 114 High Ave. NE, Coeburn, Va.
