Betty Aldridge Howard March 19, 1943 - January 16, 2013, Raleigh
Betty was born in Petersburg, Virginia. She lived most of her life in Raleigh, NC and retired from IBM. She was preceded in death by her parents, Annette and Clinton Aldridge. She loved her children, Susan Howard Hoggard of Raleigh, NC and Kenneth Allen Howard of Raleigh, NC more than anything on this earth. She loved her son-in-law, David Ferris Hoggard, and daughter-in-law, Donna Whritenour Howard as if they were her own children. The happiest moment of her life was when her granddaughter, Alison Aldridge Hoggard, was born, to say that she adored Allison is a huge understatement. They had a very special bond.
Betty was a kind and gracious person who was loved by everyone who met her and she loved everyone she met. She had a passion for bridge, golf, NC State sports and gardening. We will always cherish her beautiful smile and laugh.
A memorial service to honor Betty will be held Monday, January 21st at 3:00 at Magnolia Glen, 5301 Creedmore Road, Raleigh, NC 27612 in the Chapel on the first floor. Parking is limited, so you may park at the Temple Beth Or 5315 Creedmore Road, Raleigh, NC 27612 next door to Magnolia Glen. There is a walkway from the temple to Magnolia Glen. Please join us at Susan's house, 1320 Onslow Road, Raleigh, NC 27606, after the service to share stories and loving memories of our mother.
Mom loved flowers and anything to do with gardening, but if you would like to make a donation in her name, we would suggest the American Lung Association, the Aplastic Anemia & MDS National Foundation, or Hospice of Wake County.

Thomas K. Worthington from Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Born June 13, 1918.
Divorced December 21, 1988.
Died February 24, 1993.
Last residence was Daytona Beach, Florida.
Unable to find burial information for him.
