Fannie Frances (Amos) McRae Sain Smith
Mrs. Smith was born July 15, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Henery and Lilly May (Athey) Amos and died Thursday, December 24, 2015 at her residence in Lufkin. She was a homemaker, loving mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 16 years (in 1971), William Thomas Sain and her son, Thomas William Sain.
Survivors include her sons, James H. McRae and Harry S. McRae; daughters, Pamela A. Busby, Patricia M. Cummins, and Frances J. Putnam; 12 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
Her services will be in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Wells.
