Joan was born August 31, 1923 at Park Hill, OK, the daughter of Oswald and Leota (Smithson) Davis and died Friday, January 18, 2013 at Fort Gibson. On July 5, 1941 she married John L. Riggs in Braggs. She was a homemaker and member of the Braggs Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by baby siblings, Dolly, Dorothy, LaVerne, Birdie, and Doris; sisters, Loraine, Ruth, Orlena, and Katherine; brothers, Jimmy and Novie.∼Shares a tombstone with John Landreth Riggs.
