Mrs. Frances E. Bryant (nee Martin) was born March 8, 1857 in Lincoln Co., Mo. She was married to Milton Bryant in 1879 and to this happy union 11 children were born. Mr. Bryant preceded his wife to the Great Beyond in 1916.
The living children are: Creesy, Willie, Harvey, George, Edward, Alex, Lulu, Frances, Thomas and Abbie. Charles is the one child who is now in Heaven. Mother Bryant made her home with her children. She was living at Mrs. Frances Pearias home when the end came.
She placed her hand forever in that of the Lords hand on January 14, 1933 at 6:18 in the morning. She is now with her beloved husband and son and the Father of us all in the land where there is no night or day but where God is the Light forever.
Twenty-eight grandchildren, 10 children 3 brothers in California and 1 brother of Foley and a multitude of other relative & friends remain to remember her smiling face, her sterling character and her Christian way of life.
The remains were conveyed to Jonesburg Monday morning and placed in the Christian Church where services were conducted... The remains were interred in the city cemetery beside those of loved ones gone before.
