David L. James. STANFORD - Services for David L.
James, 77, of St. Bernard, Ohio, formerly of Stanford, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Spurlin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery with military rites by Caswell Saufley Post 18. He died Friday at East Galbraith Northwest Veterans Hospital. Born March 14, 1927, in Lincoln County,
he was the son of the late Jesse and Ludema Gilliam James.
He was a truck driver for Victor Transfer and an Army veteran
of World War II. He was the widower of Anna Mae McClure
James. Survivors include a son, Marty James; a daughter,
Debbie Fields; a brother, Howard "Doc" James; and two
sisters, Sarah Huffacker and Betty D'Arcy. Visitation will be 1-
3 p.m. Wednesday at Spurlin Funeral Home.
