Abram S. Brinton, retired railway conductor, died at his home, 332 South Locust street, at 5:19 o'clock Monday afternoon [April 10, 1944], of complications, aged 67 years.

He was born and reared in York County, Pa., the son of William and Susan (Schrull) Brinton.

He was employed by the Norfolk and Western Railway Company for 34 years, retiring as a conductor three years ago.

He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen and Trinity Lutheran Church of Lemoyne, Pa.

Surviving are his wife, Bertha Brinton;
daughters,
Mrs. George Duvall, Baltimore;
Mrs. Helen Floy, Hagerstown and
Miss Edith Brinton, at home;
sons,
Clair C. and
Charles S., both of this city;
Paul L., Washington, D.C. and
D. Milton Brinton, Arlington, Va.;
two sisters,
Mrs. Edward Miller, Lemoyne and
Mrs. Mary Zimmerman, New Cumberland, Pa.

The body was removed to the Suter Funeral Home where services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Roy L. Snoop officiating. Interment in Rest Haven cemetery.
