Carl Enoch Hill, son of Enoch Hill and Rachel Jane Kimberling, married First to a lady unknown, secondly he married Ada M. Peterson. Carl and Ada had no children.
The following is Carl's obituary as it appeared in his hometown Newpaper:
A TRIBUTE, published in the pages of THE DELAVAN ENTERPRISE, DELAVAN, WISCONSIN, NOVEMBER 14, 1963, MEMORIAL OBITUARY, (Entered into Eteral Rest Sunday, November 10, 1963, Dr. Carl Enoch Hill, 74, a Delavan resident for the past 44 years died Sunday afternoon, November 10, in his home at 129 south Sixth Street. Born May 26, 1889, in Nickerson, Kansas, the son of Enoch and Rachel Hill, he graduated from the Palmer School of Chiropractice in 1909 and practiced in South Dakota for 10 years. He opened his Delavan practice in 1919. Dr. Hill married Ada Peterson, October 8, 1935. For many years he played in the Delavan City Band. Dr. Hill was an ardent gardener, specializing in roses and dahlias. He was keenly interested in government affairs and patriotism. He was a member of the Wisconsin Better Government Organization and several patriotic groups. Strong in his opinions on government, Dr. Hill authored numerous articles on this subject for publication. Surviving are his wife, Ada, a brother, Odus Grant Hill of Hutchinson, Kansas, and several nieces and nephews. Services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 13, in the First Baptist Church, the Rev. Walter Camp officiating. Burial was in Spring Grove cemetery. Friends called at the Monroe Funeral Home, Tuesday afternoon and evening. Carl Enoch Hill was a chiropractor by trade. He graduated from the Palmer school of Chiropractics in 1909 and practiced in South Dakota for 10 years before setting up a practice in Delavan, Wisconsin in 1919.
