Sellers Services for Luther Jessie Alston, 83, were held Wednesday at Bethel AME Church of Plantersville with burial with Masonic Rites. Wilds' daughter Home for Funeral in Georgetown was in charge.
Mr. Alston died Friday, April 2, 1993. Born in Plantersville he was a son of the late Random and Ida Alston. he was a member of Bethel AME Church.
Surviving are his wife, Sallie Mae Alston; daughters Ruthena Alston of Georgetown and Dessie Jackson and Louise Rutledge of Miami; a son Nathaniel Burroughs of Georgetown; a stepson, Aljie Lester Jr.
