Funeral services for Marybelle Barnes Lofland 94 of Alvin, will be held 11:00 AM Monday at Bailey & Foster Chapel Grapeland, with Rev. Chuck Bratz officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster. Mrs. Lofland passed away Thursday in Alvin. She was born July 24, 1918 in Waneta, Texas to Fate and Bettye Barnes. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Lofland was preceded in death by her parents, husband Farris Lofland, six sisters and three brothers. She is survived by son Jerry Lofland and wife Gracelyn of Alvin, grandchildren; Will Lofland and wife Trasa of Rosheron and Debra Green and husband Neil of League City, great grandchildren; Eric and Kristopher Mills, Hunter and Maddie Lofland and Shelby and Macey Green, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Will Lofland, Hunter Lofland, Kristopher Mills and Neil Green. Condolence calls will be received one hour before service time at Bailey & Foster Chapel Grapeland.
