Hampton, FL - William "Bill" Alderman, age 73, of Hampton, Florida passed away January 16, 2013 at his residence with family by his side. He was born on March 10, 1939 in Hampton, Florida to the late Thomas Jay Alderman and Clara Slaughter Alderman. William retired after 20 years of dedicated service in the United States Navy as a Master Chief Petty Officer. He was of the Baptist Faith. William was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Frances Shoemaker and Mary Alice Taylor.
William is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Judy Alderman of Hampton, FL; his children Cathy (Henry) Campbell of Clintonville, WV, Thomas G. Alderman of Hampton, FL, and Cynthia (Kevin) Gnann of Hampton, FL; his brother Thomas J. (Mary) Alderman of Ashville, NC; his sister, Janice Townsend of Havana, FL; his 3 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
