Per the 1860 Census of Oshkosh, Winnebago, Wisconsin - Baby Matthew had two older brothers: Nicolas (age 4) & Martin (age 3). All 3 boys were born in Wisconsin. Their parents, Jacob & Margret, were born in Prussia. Neither could read or write. Their father is a Day Laborer.
