Rachel Jackson, 79 died Monday, January 10, 2005 at her home in Zena after a long illness.
Rachel was born on February 1, 1925, the daughter of Henry and Mollie (Bartley) Messimore. Both preceded her in death. On December 7, 1941, Rachel married A.D. Jackson who preceded her in death. She worked as a nurse’s aid for nursing homes in Grove for fifteen years before retiring in 1973. Rachel was a member of Zena Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Andrew; two daughters-in-law; four grandchildren; one brother; and one sister.
