Son of Paul Peter and Lena Kaslausky Zues.

Married Loretta Louise Guth on June 12, 1938. She preceded him on June 7, 1997.

Survived by a daughter, Donna Martin of Danville; three grandchildren, Shari Davis (Robert) of Catlin, Melissa Ball (Andy) of Peotone and Michael Martin of Danville; and great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Davis.

Also preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

Served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and Korea.
