Mrs. Katherine Eaton Hayes, 73, died yesterday afternoon at the Capital Nursing Home, 24 Prospect avenue, Gloversville, where she had been since August.
She was born in Fish house, Dec. 5, 1875, but lived in Northville since early childhood. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church, and the Philathea class. The survivors are one son, Almond Hayes of Schenectady, and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at the Yates & Corey funeral home, Sunday afternoon at 2. The Rev. Paul Wilson, of the Presbyterian church, will officiate. Burial will be in Prospect Hill cemetery.
