Mrs. Johnnie Maysey, age 68, of Cloverport, died Friday, October 23, 1998, at Owensboro Mercy Health Systems, Owensboro.

Born September 19, 1930 in Cloverport, Mrs. Maysey was a daughter of the late Edward Gregory and Cecil Hall Gregory. She was a member of the Cloverport United Methodist Church, and a member of the Cloverport Eastern Star #143. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Gregory.

Surviving are her husband, Damon Maysey, Cloverport; three sons, Greg Maysey and Perrin Maysey, both of Cloverport, and Dan Maysey, Coral Springs, FL; four sisters, Anna Robertson, Union Star, Mildred Brown, Hardinsburg, Willie Lee Fields, Whiting, IN, and Freda White, Louisville; a brother, Joe Gregory, Simpsonville; and four grandchildren.

Funeral Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 27 from the Cloverport United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Alton Lawhorn officiating. Burial was in the Cloverport Cemetery with Wallace Funeral Home, Cloverport, in charge of arrangements.
