Mildred Rebecca Dennison, 84, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 21, 2011. She was born in Washington County, TN and had resided in Kingsport most of her life. Mildred had retired from the Mead Corporation with 45 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and was of the Baptist faith.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Jack M. Dennison; and parents, John Franklin Hale and Susan Effie Hale; one sister and five brothers. Survivors include her three sons, Marion Dennison, John Dennison and wife, Tamra, David Dennison, all of Kingsport; three grandchildren, Zachary Dennison; Wyatt Dennison, Haley Dennison and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The service will begin at 7 pm with Pastor Stanley Sims officiating. Graveside will be conducted at 10 am Friday at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
