She was born June 13, 1923, in Syracuse, to B.I. and Lula Harrison Wells. She graduated from Syracuse High School in 1941.
Miss Wells worked as a housekeeper for two years at Hamilton County Hospital in Syracuse, beginning in 1980. Since November 2007, she had resided at Seasons Of Life Living Center. She was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include a sister, Maybelle Couch of Syracuse. She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Henry, Lowell, Ovitt, Rex and Calvin Wells; and two sisters, Lucille Canapp and Lois Burris.
Graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. MST Saturday at Syracuse Cemetery.
