The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Waller Funeral Home Chapel in Oxford, MS with Rev. Jim Peterman and Rev. Randy Hope Officiating.
Burial will follow in Abbeville Cemetery.
The Visitation will be Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Waller Funeral Home from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
Mrs. Hankins was a Member of Abbeville Methodist Church where she enjoyed participating in Vacation Bible School – Teaching and Cooking.
Barbara formerly worked at Chambers/Whirlpool Manufacturing and at J & F Café in Abbeville.
She was a Friendly Person who never met a stranger and was always ready to help anyone in need.
Mrs. Hankins is survived by her Husband, Jerry Hankins of Abbeville; her Daughter, Jennifer Thomas and Husband, Robert, of Harmontown, MS; two Sons, Henry Hankins and Wife, Loretta, of Abbeville; and Jerry Hankins and Wife, Jennifer, of Abbeville; one Step Son, Tom Pietchman and Wife, Stacey, of Raymore, MO; two Sisters, Glenda Hankins and Husband, Bobb, of Abbeville; and Augusta Hankins and Husband, Ricky of Abbeville; eight Grandchildren; and three Great Grandchildren.
