Erica Ann Karleskint, 49, of Parsons, died at 5:25 a.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at her home, following a lengthy battle with cancer.

She was born July 12, 1958, in Ft. Scott, Kansas, to Joseph C. and Theresa M. (Rei) Karleskint. She grew up in Parsons where she attended St. Patrick's Catholic Elementary School and Parsons High School, and later graduated from Independence Community College.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

SURVIVORS: Two Sons - Derrick Wayne Lamm Pittsburg, KS Trevor Torrance Virginia Beach, VA One Daughter – Kirsten Marie Lamm Kansas City, KS Parents - Joe and Theresa Karleskint Parsons, KS One Brother – Brian Karleskint and his wife, Vicky San Antonio, TX Three Sisters – Terri Flynn and her husband, Mark Parsons, KS Elisa Karleskint, Monticello, GA Julie Williams and her husband, Donnie Parsons, KS Numerous Nieces & Nephews

Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 27, 2007, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Parsons. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 26, 2007, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. The family will receive friends following the Rosary.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Kirsten Lamm Education Fund or St. Patrick's School Endowment Fund. These may be left at or mailed to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 374, Parsons, KS 67357.
