Marine, IL--Miss Mathilda Ashauer, 74 years old, died this morning at St. Joseph's Hospital, Highland. Complete funeral arrangements will be published in Tuesday's Intelligencer. The Halleman Funeral Home is in charge.
Survivors are three sisters, Miss Alma Ashauer of Marine, Miss Elfrieda Ashauer of Edwardsville and Mrs. Frances Ahring of Collinsville.

Marine, IL--Funeral services for Miss Mathilda Ashauer will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the United Church of Christ with the Rev. R.H. Hosto officiating.
Interment will be in Marine Cemetery.
Miss Ashauer, 74, a resident of Marine all her life, died Monday at 8:25 a.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital, Highland, where she had been a patient eight days.
She was born Jan. 7, 1891, the daughter of Louis and Louise Stuckwisch Ashauer.
Miss Ashauer was a member of the United Church of Christ and the Missionary Circle.
Friends may call at the Halleman Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Nick Wildhaber, Henry Hollmann, Zane Austin, Clarence Loos, George Wilhelm and William Gentry.
