Funeral services for Billy M. ''Bill'' Gay, 77, of Longview will be 2 PM Thursday in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Hageman officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens with Masonic Graveside services.
Mr. Gay died at his residence Thursday morning.

Bill retired from the US Air Force and then retired as an letter carrier from the US Postal Service.
He was associated with the Hallsville 1st Methodist Church, life member of the VFW and was a life or endowed member of the following Masonic groups: Charter member of Little Cypress Lodge #1459, Harleton, Texas, James F. Taylor Lodge #169, Hallsville, Texas, Order of Eastern Star #996, Hallsville, TX., Valley of Waco Scottish Rite (32nd degree mason), Chapter #177 Royal Arch Mason, Council #116 Royal Select Master, Commandery #86 York Rite of Longview, East Texas York Rite College #140, Tyler, Texas, Member of Sharon Temple, Tyler, Texas, Member of Sharon Temple Mustang Patrol, Charter Member Tranquillity Lodge 2000(Moon Lodge of the Planet Earth now setting in Waco, Texas).
Survivors include his wife of 44 years: Betty of Longview.
