Lafayette "Lafe" Fullmer was born October 20, 1892 in Orangeville, Utah. Lafayette's parents were James S. Fullmer and Eliza Jane Curtis Fullmer. Lafayette was married to Goldy Ruth Ramy who came to Barton Flat as a teacher. Lafayette died October 21, 1924 and is buried at the Barton Flat Cemetery in Custer County, Idaho.

From the August 22, 1924 Mackay Miner - Death of Lafe Fullmer - Lafe Fullmer, a resident of Barton passed away Tuesday at six o'clock p.m., in Mackay (Idaho), following an operation for appendicitis which was performed Sunday.

Deceased was about thirty-five years of age (he was actually 32 years of age at the time of his death). His parents and a number of brothers and sisters at Barton survive him, and to these the sympathy of all is extended. Funeral arrangemets had not been completed today, but it was thought the funeral would be held Thursday and the remains to be taken to Barton for interment.
