RAVENDEN -- Edna Pearl Wells, 91, of Ravenden died Wednesday, Jan. 19, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge.

Born at Ravenden, she was a homemaker and a member of Ravenden Church of Christ.

Survivors include four sons, James Ray Wells, Jerry Wells and Stephen Wells, all of Ravenden, and Roger Wells of Pocahontas; a daughter, Marilyn White of Wichita, Kan.; two brothers, John James of Buena Park, Calif., and Clarence James of Fairwell, Mo.; a sister, Leta Mchaffey of Fayetteville; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buell Wells Sr.; one son, Buell Borden Wells Jr.; her parents, Frank and Flora Davis James; one sister; four brothers; and three grandsons.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ravenden Church of Christ, with A.J. Stracener officiating. Burial will follow in Dail Cemetery at Ravenden under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Service of Walnut Ridge.

Active pallbearers will be Jerry L. Wells, Gary Wells, Jade Wells, Shane Bacon, Casey Wells and Adam Wells.

Honorary pallbearers will include Rickey Wells and Brian Wells.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Paragould Children's Home.
