Mrs. Nellie Rogers Dies After a Long Illness
Had Been in Ill Health for Two Years— Lived in Webb City Twenty-Five Years.
Mrs. Nellie Rogers, a resident of Webb City for the last twenty-five years, died at her home, No. 303 North Washington street, at 8 o'clock last night from tuberculosis. She had been in ill health for the last two years.
Mrs. Rogers was fifty years old. She was well known in this city. She was matron of the women's restroom at the house of representatives in Washington, D. C., for almost two years. She returned to Webb City about a year ago on account of her health. Her mother, Mrs. Fanny Jones, assumed the position of matron when her health forced Mrs. Rogers to give up the work.
The surviving relatives are one son, Gordon, a daughter, Dorothy, both of Webb City; a mother, Mrs. Fanny Jones of Washington, D. C., four sisters, Mrs. C. A. Hammel of Webb City, Mrs. R. B. Parnell of Seneca, Mo., Mrs. Daisy Daniels and Mrs. Ethel Buzzard of near Neosho, and three brothers, Oliver Jones of Hattonville, Okla., and Roy and Floyd Jones of Montana.
No funeral arrangements have been made.

SERVICES FOR MRS. ROGERS
Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Rogers, a pioneer resident of Webb City, who died at her home, No. 303 North Washington street, Friday night from tuberculosis, were held at the Christian church at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The services were conducted by the Rev. L. B. Scoggins, pastor of the church, assisted by the Rev. Smith of Diamond, Mo. Burial was in Webb City cemetery. The Knights and Ladies of Security lodge of Webb City had charge of the funeral. A large number of friends and relatives attended the services.
