Services for Verdie Lee Barwick, age 67, of East Dublin, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the
Church of Jesus Christ in Scott. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Pastor Zona Powell, Elder Todd Kapp, and Rev. Wayne Durden will officiate. Mr. Barwick died Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Mr. Barwick was the son of the late George William Otis Barwick and the late Mazie Lee Reese Barwick. He was an electrician, retired from Moye Electric, and affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ in Scott.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Barwick was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Jack Barwick, Charles Barwick, Emory Gene Barwick, Roger Barwick, Bobby Joe Barwick, Kathy Barwick; and grandchild, Wesley Jay Barwick.
