Willie Loduska Smith, 95, died Monday, July 20, 2009, at the New Albany Health and Rehab. She was born February 2, 1914 in Decatur, AL. She was a homemaker, and former employee of Irwin B. Schwabe Company. She was a member of the Victory Life Church.
Survivors include a daughter Marjorie Trimm (Wayne) of Ecru; 2 sons: Thomas E. "Gene" Smith (Elsie), and James Smith (Gilda) both of New Albany; 13 grandchildren Phil Smith, Bodie Smith, Dawn Hearn, Russell Trimm, Jimmy Trimm, Jon Trimm, Dallas Smith, Stephanie Turner, Tanis Raines, Marcus Smith, Cindy Patton, Shelia Compton, and Allen Brown; 27 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents James Alfred and Emma Farley Robinson; 2 sons Lester Smith and Donnie Smith; a sister Ethel Duncan; a half brother Edward Robinson; and 2 granddaughters.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Burial will be in the Glenfield Memorial Park.
