Homer Garland Aldrich, owner of the Aldrich Trucking Service in Foosland and partner In the Fisher Nitrogen Service at Fisher, died Wednesday night al Gibson Community Hospital in Gibson City following an Illness of several months.

His funeral was at 2 p.m.-Saturday at the Foosland Methodist Church. The Rev. Marshall Ulm officiated, and burial was In Mount Hope Cemetery.

Mr. Aldrich was born at Louisville, Oct. 24, 1922, a son of Homer and Bertie Tolliver Aldrich, and married Maysel Carpenter June 23, 1941 in St. Louis. He had lived here since 1941.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Clara Sedberry, Carlyle; Miss Nancy, at home: a son. Dale, at home; his parents, at Ludlow: three grandchildren; four brothers, Ralph, Calico Rock, Ark.; Charles Len, Opalocka, Fla.; John Bures, Champaign; Carl Frederick, Paxton; four sisters, Mrs. Virginia Stetson, Raymond, N. H.; Mrs. Anna Lundegard, Fremont, Calif.; Mrs. Mary Cochran, Columbus, Ind.; Mrs. Joyce Dake, Franklin, Wis.
He was a member of the Foosland Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge, Amvets and Owl Creek Rebekah Lodge at Fisher, the Bloomington Consistory and the Peoria Shrine.
