FAIRLAND MAN DIES AT ACCIDENT SCENE

A Fairland, Okla., man died at the scene of a two-vehicle accident at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday on state Highway 125, north of Fairland, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Lloyd Glenn, 85, was killed when the vehicle he was driving collided with a vehicle driven by Doyle Tucker, 48, of Welch, Okla.
Tucker was northbound when he attempted to slow for a turning vehicle and lost control of his vehicle; Tucker's vehicle off the right side of the road, and Tucker overcorrected. His vehicle entered the southbound lane and struck Glenn's vehicle head-on, the patrol said.
Glenn was pinned in his vehicle and died at the scene, the patrol said.
Tucker and Ricky Bible, 50, of Welch, a passenger in Tucker's vehicle, were thrown out of Tucker's vehicle, the patrol said. Both men were taken to Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami, Okla., where they were treated for injuries and released, the patrol said.
