Daughter of Gideon Hale & Mary White, married Samuel Welles May 2, 1782, Barbour vital records for Glastonbury, vol. 2 page 96. When Anne died Jan 11, 1816, Samuel then married her sister, Hannah Hale.
They had five known children:
Chauncy b. Oct 21, 1786 d. July 21, 1788
Gideon b. July 1, 1802 d. Feb 11, 1878
Oliver b. Jan 27, 1784 d. May 24, 1838
Samuel Jr. b. Sept 24, 1797 d. April, 1818
Thaddeus b. Feb 23, 1806 (Married Emily Maria Kellogg)
