We regret to learn of the death of this amiable and accomplished Lady, the Wife of Hon. Emmerson Etheridge, which occurred at the residence of her husband in Dresden, Tenn. on Friday night last, the 25th ultimo. Her husband is absent attending to his duties as a member of Congress. In this sad and distressing bereavement we are sure that he has the sympathies and condolence of all who know him. Mrs. Etheridge was young; she had not reached the meridian of womanhood, except in amiability of character and the graces of her sex. All who were acquainted with her will deplore her death as an irreparable loss to the social circles, shedding a lustre upon them by her cultivated mind, her vivacity of spirits, and her fascination of person and manners. mrs. E. was the only daughter of Dr. Pulaski B. Bell of Weakly (sic) county. Trenton TN Banner
