Gary Alan Arthur was born on September 24, 1952.
He was a musician and in the 1970s became prominently known for his participation in early contemporary Christian music bands The Way and Parable. He also lent his expertise to other musical entities including the Benny Hester Band.
Gary went on to pastor a church and function as praise and worship leader. One of his passions was missions and he helped in construction of an orphanage in Haiti.
Living in San Clemente, California, he was 60 years old and had flu and pneumonia when he passed away in early January {on the 1st, 4th or 5th?}, 2013.
Per his wishes, his body was cremated The Omega Society.
