Omer Fierce, 83, died Saturday in Parkview Nursing Home after an extended illness. He was a native of DeSoto and resided most of his life in Delaware County. During the past several years he had lived with his children.
Mr. Fierce was a former supervisor in the paper division in Plant 2 of Ball Corporation, retiring after more than 25 years' service. He was a member of Full Gospel Temple.
Surviving are one son, Robert, Muncie; four daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Juanita) Smith and Mrs. John (Donna) Donson, both of Muncie, Mrs. Earl (Helen) Donson, Auburndale, Fla., and Mrs. James (Vel) Adams, Fort Meade, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Betty O. O'Neil, Pasadena, Calif.; and 15 grandchildren.
Final rites are pending at Parson Mortuary.
