Children - John Moroni Gillies, Annie Campbell Gillies, Daniel Sinclair Gillies, Christina Gibbs Gillies∼Circleville, Aug. 26, Mrs. JEAN GILLIES, an old and respected citizen of Beaver, passed away here at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Maxie Parker, at 2:30 this morning. Mrs. Gillies was born in Scotland in 1816. She emigrated to America about fifty years ago and traveled across the plains with the hand-cart company. She has resided in Beaver for the last thirty years. Last May she was brought over here on a visit and owing to the many infirmities of old age could not return. Her son, D.S. Gillies, and son-on-law, Maxie parker will take the remains to Beaver tonight. Mrs. Gillies leaves two daughters and one son to mourn her departure.
