RICHLAND CENTER - Harold D. Huffman, Sr., age 85 of rural Richland Center, died on Monday, January 6, 1992, at the Richland Hospital. He was born on May 27, 1906, In Richland County, the son of William and Belle (Miller) Huffman. He was married to Nellie German on August 22, 1925, In Belvldere, Illinois. She preceded him in death on October 23, 1990. He farmed In Ithaca Township until the age of 72. He was on the board of directors of P C A from 1951 until 1973, Consumers Co-op, and Federal Land Bank. He was a school board treasurer at the Aubrey School; and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church In Richland Center. He Is survived by two sons, Harold (Thelma) Huffman. Jr., and Larry Huffman, both of Richland Center; two daughters, Marie (Norm) Faber of Richland Center, and Marilyn (Bud) Rogers of Madison; nine grandchildren; 17 greatgrandchildren; a brother, Howard (Myrtle) Huffman of Richland Center; two sisters, Hazel (Fred) Pauls of Richland Center, and Pluma (Leonard) Stoddard of Spring Green; two sisters-in-law, Marie Schwarz of Mazomanie, and Dorothy German of Lakewood, Colorado; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death, besides his wife, by his parents; and an infant son, Frederick William. Services will be held at the PRATT MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Richland Center, at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 9, 1992, with burial In the Richland Center Cemetery. Reverend Roger Gustafson will officiate. Friends may coll at the chapel from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, and also from 8:00 am. until the time of the service on Thursday.
