David Fales m. (1) 1 Sept 1853 Almira Pottle, b. in Strong, 10 May 1828, daughter of Able Pottle and Mahala Ellsworth. Almira Fales d. in Freeman, Maine, 26 June 1864, aged 36, buried in Tuttle Cemetery, Strong - "She has finished her work & gone home to rest." In June 1860, David Fales, 32, farmer, lived in Freeman with [his wife] Almina, 32, and [children] Lyman F., 5, and Mary Ella, 2.[1]

i. Lyman Franklin, b. in Freeman, Maine, 17 Aug 1854;[2] d. in Farmington 19 Oct 1928, aged 74.

Lyman Fales m. in Farmington 5 Dec 1878 Martha "Mattie" H. Fassett,[3] b. in Starks, Maine, 17 May 1859,[4] d. in Farmington 30 Dec 1932, aged 73, daughter of John S. Fassett and Eveline Hilton. Lyman and Mattie Fales are buried in Riverside Cemetery, Farmington.

Lyman F. Fales, grist mill manager, lived in Farmington in June 1900.[5] He was in the grain department at W.W. Small Co. for over twenty years; his religious preference was Methodist.[6] In April 1910 Lyman F. Fales, 55, "grain mill"; his wife Mattie H., 51; daughter Edith C. Robinson, 25; and son-in-law Arthur H. Robinson, 28, telegraph, lived on Quarry St., Farmington.[7] Lyman Fales was last [1928] of Maple Ave., Farmington.

ii. Ella Mary, b. in Freeman, Maine, 9 Nov 1857; d. in Wilton, Maine, 8 June 1941, aged 83.[8]

Ella Fales m. (1) in Farmington, Maine, 6 April1876 Jacob Elihu Eaton,[9] b. there 23 July 1845,[10] son of Wendell Davis Eaton and Hannah S. Norton. Jacob Eaton, 51, d. in Jay, Maine, 28 Sept 1896 of "injury - cart wheel passed over lower part pelvic cavity and crushed the bones." Jacob Eaton and Ella (Eaton) Tufts are buried in Riverside Cemetery, Farmington.[11]

Ella Fales taught in Freeman and New Vineyard public schools before her marriage. Jacob and Ella Eaton were farmers. In 1880, Jacob Eaton, 34, farmer, lived in Farmington with his wife Eller, 32; children Lester D., 2; Clarence, 1; mother Hannah S., 59; and sister, Lizzie N., 25, teacher.[12] In June 1900, widow Ella M. Eaton lived in Jay with her children Kenneth F., Clyde E., Clifford E., and Gladys E.[13]

Ella (Fales) Eaton m. (2) in East Wilton, Maine, 26 Nov 1907 William "Will" F. Tufts, carpenter, b. in Wilton, 8 May 1867, d. there 31 Dec 1938, aged 71, son of Francis "Frank" Tufts and Henrietta Jones. No issue. William F. Tufts is also buried in Riverside Cemetery.

In Jan 1920, William F. Tufts, 52, lived on Depot St., Dryden, with his wife Ella M., 62, and step-grandson, Jacob K. Eaton, 5.[14] In Oct 1928, Ella Tufts was of Dryden.[15] She was survived in 1941 by 6 children, 17 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.[16]

iii. David C. [twin], b. [26 Nov] 1860; d. 4 Oct 1862, aged 1y.10m.8d., buried in Tuttle Cemetery, Strong.

iv. Clara A. [twin], b. [26 Nov] 1860; d. 26 May 1861, aged 6 months, buried in Tuttle Cemetery, Strong.
