Although Philip Sr. passed away when I was just a small boy, I still remember him. He was a very kind man, lived in Bell Gardens, CA and owned a gasoline station there.
Philip Sr. was my mother's uncle on both side of her family. You see Uncle Phil was my mother, Stella A. Gray's, father's (Val Albers) brother, and he was also my mother's mother's brother-in-law. 2 sisters married 2 brothers, thus an uncle on both sides of the family.
Philip Sr. was known as "Uncle Phil" while his son Philip Jr. was known as "Brother Phil".
Sadly, Uncle Phil passed away when I was a small boy, from a blood clot that went to his heart and blocked it.
