George LeGrand married Miss Mary D. Milling on 6 June 1894 at Graham, Texas.
Services for Mrs. Mary Milling LeGrand, 84, pioneer resident of Hereford were held at First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. R.H. Cagle, the local pastor. She was the widow of Dr. G.F. LeGrand, pioneer Hereford physician and had lived in Hereford since 1903.
She had moved from Louisiana to Texas in 1892 and Dr. and Mrs. LeGrand moved from Graham, Texas to Hereford, Texas in 1903 where he became one of the first physicians in this section.
Survived by three sons - George F. LeGrand, Louis L. LeGrand, Eugene A. LeGrand; eight grandchildren; one brother - Samuel Truman Milling.
