Lynda "Betty" Darnell Elam McManus passed away at 10:30 AM Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Carpenter House in Baton Rouge at the age of 66. She was a native of Alcorn, MS and a resident of Denham Springs.
Visitation at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs until religious services in the chapel, conducted by Bro. Don Hoy. Burial will be in Felder's Cemetery in Denham Springs.
Survived by 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Sonja and Craig Delatte and Tracy Herty; 1 sister, Melinda Crow; 5 grandchildren, Chris and Jason, Brandon, Brandi and Christina; 4 great-grandchildren, Sarah, Lillian, Braxton and Olivia.
Preceded in death by her husband, Eugene McManus; parents, Baxter Bruce and Gladys Lucille Foreman Elam; son-in-law, Christopher Herty.
She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Denham Springs. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
