SMITH, Mary Catherine Allen, 97, went to be with her Lord and Savior February 2, 2011. She was born in Tampa and was in the first graduating class at the Bayshore Boulevard campus of the Academy of the Holy Names. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, E.E. Ned Smith; daughter, Sydnia Katherine; daughter, Rebecca (died at birth); and son, Shawn (died at birth). She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Patricia, Michael, Andrew, Lawanda, Kenny and Peter. Aunt Mary was devoted to the Catholic Church and lived her faith every day. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Charities Inc., 1213 16th St. North, St. Petersburg, FL 33705. A memorial service and Mass will take place at

9 a.m. Friday, February 25, 2011, at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 17512 Lakeshore Road, Lutz, Fla.
