Gloria Ann Blackwood, 80, Oneonta, died Jan. 3, 2013, at the residence. She was a member of Lester Memorial United Methodist Church and retired from the town of Cleveland, where she had worked as town clerk. Parents James Herbert and Mary Irene Gilbert Young predeceased her.
Surviving are son Hal (Sharon) Blackwood, Oneonta; daughter Leigh (Bobby) Landers, Boaz; grandchildren Corey, Abby, and Anna Blackwood, Matthew Landers; sister Cecile Easterling, Atlanta, Ga. Barry Hallman officiated the 2:30 p.m. graveside service Jan. 6 at Mt. Joy Cemetery with Matthew Landers, Bobby Landers, Corey Blackwood, and Phillip Whited serving as pallbearers. Lemley Funeral Home directed.
