Betty Louise Nichols Hickman, 81, of Hermitage, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Bradley County Medical Center.

Born Feb. 1, 1931, in Cleveland County, she was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, S.B. Hickman; a son, George Calvin Hamilton; and daughters, Carolyn Sue Adair and Margaret Ann Hamilton.

Survivors are four sons, Jerry Hamilton of Star City, Dale Hamilton of Hermitage, Marty Hardy of Subiaco, and Tracy Dean Hamilton of Rison; three daughters, Linda Hamilton and Mary Bray, both of Warren, and Martha Hardy of Wiener; three brothers, Sambo Nichols and Charles Nichols, both of Warren, and Calvin Eugene Nichols of El Dorado; three sisters, Hazel Bond of Warren, Rosie Marie Williams of Star City, and Dottie Jackson of Des Moines, Iowa; 26 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Frazer's Funeral Home Chapel in Warren. Burial will be in Union Cemetery at Rye.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
