She was born June 26, 1920, in St. Paul, Minn. In 1979, she moved to Venice after living in Louisville, Ky., and Barrington, Ill.
Ms. Cordill was the founding president of Good Shepherd Hospital Auxiliary in Fox River Grove, Ill. She was a Pink Lady at Venice Hospital and was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority and Venice Yacht Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Jody Hill (Steve) of Brooksville; son, John Jay (Connie) of Brooksville; grandson, Andy Cordill; and two granddaughters, Amy Martinez-Monfort and Suzanne Shwedo.
Services: A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m.,Tuesday, Jan. 8, at the Brooksville Chapel of Brewer & Sons Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery beside her husband, John Joseph 'Jack' Cordill.
