Chester Choncek, 82, of Kittanning RD6, died Thursday, may 14, 1992 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. He was born Sept. 4, 1909, in Phillipston, Pa., to Michael and Margaret Choncek. A life-Long resident of Kittanning, he was employed as a plant supervisor with Continental Clay Company with 45 years of service. He was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church and Lenape Heights Golf Course. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Alma D. Greenawalt Choncek; four sons, Richard W. Drennen of Homer City, Chester E. Choncek of Kittanning, Michael W. Choncek of Adrian RD1 and John L. Choncek of Kittanning RD3; three daughters, Mrs. John H. (Patricia) Gruntrum, Mrs. Gloria Roncher and Mrs. John (Sally) Henry, all of Kittanning; a brother, William Choncek of Sterling Heights, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Genevieve Longran of Alpena, Mich.; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers; three sisters, and a grandson, Michael Shawn Choncek. CHONCEK - Friends of Chester Choncek, 82, of Kittanning RD6, who died Thursday, May 14, 1992, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Bauer's a Community Care funeral home, in Kittanning, where a parish wake service will be held Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. David L. Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Arrangements by Bauer.
