Death Claims Rev. F. M. Hensley
Rev. Francis Marion Hensley, 72, Route 5, London, died at 11:20 a.m. at Marymount Hospital February 14. A native of Clay County, he was the son of Irvin and Elizabeth Hoskins Hensley. He was married to the former Parmalee Stephens. Rev. Hensley was a member and pastor of the Freedon Baptist Church. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Esley (Margaret E.) Kemplen, Reily, O., Mrs. Wayne (Martha) Daniel and Mrs. Donald (Francine) Garrett of Hamilton, O., Mrs. Larry (Melva) Phelps, Corbin, and Miss Rita Irene Hensley, Route 5, London; five sons, Harvey C. Hensley, Dallas, Texas, William T. Hensley and Herbert E. Hensley of Hamilton, O., Stephen E. Hensley and Martin B. Hensley, Route 5 ,London; his father, Irvin Hensley, Stillwater, Oklahoma; one sister, Mrs. Martha Guinn, Stillwater, Okla.; and two brothers, George Hensley and Frank Hensley of Stillwater, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held February 16 at the Freedon Baptist Church by the Revs. Vernon Weaver and Robert Earl Johnson. Interment was in the A.R. Dyche Cemetery. Pallbearers were Johnny Brock Sr., Johnny Brock Jr., Gennings Gilbert, Jim Bruner, Victor Hammons, and Jimmy Swafford. House Funeral Home was in charge.
