She was preceded in death by a sister, Josephine Wasinger.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina, burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina. A vigil service will be at 6:30 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
Memorials are suggested to St. Mary Grade School, Salina, or American Diabetes Association.

Albertina Spies was born January 14, 1914, at Liebenthal, Kansas, the daughter of Ignatius and Christina Spies. She died October 2, 2001.
Miss Spies had been a seamstress, a cook and worked as a breakroom attendant for Tony's Pizza Service. She moved to Salina in the 1930's and was a member of the Sacred Heart Cathedral parish.
There were no immediate survivors.
