Salina - Albertina Spies, 87, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2001. She was born Nov. 14, 1914, in Liebenthal to Ignatius and Christina (Pfeifer) Spies.
She was a breakroom attendant for Tony´s Pizza Service.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Josephine Wasinger.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina, burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina. A vigil service will be at 6:30 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
Memorials are suggested to St. Mary Grade School, Salina, or American Diabetes Association.
