SYLACAUGA - Funeral service for Nell J. Heaton Tyler, 80, will be Sunday, May 15, at 4 p.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North chapel with the Rev. Jim Arnall officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Tyler died May 13 at Brown Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn R. Heaton and was a member of Odena Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Roger D. Tyler of Sylacauga; son, Robert Wayne Heaton of Panama City, Fla.; two daughters, Glenda Sue Gordon and husband Steve of Goodwater and Celia Ruth Heaton of Marietta, Ga.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:30-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Eric Heaton, Mike Ingram, Mark Gordon, Ken Ragsdale, Wade Price and David Vickers. Curtis and Son Funeral will direct the service.
