My beloved and beautiful mama. She was my best friend and I miss her dearly.

7th great-granddaughter of Godfrey I and Mary Ragsdale.

Reared in Bedrock, Montrose Co., CO. Called "Princess" by her daddy and later "Cinderella" by her last husband.

Married three times:
John Robert Pace, June 16, 1946
Walter Albert Sage, November 11, 1951
Robert Vernon Hall, November 19, 1961

My mama loved to sew and made clothing for husbands, both daughters, and friends & family alike. Proudly worked as a seamstress in a dry cleaners until cataracts took her sight.

Mama went blind at the age of 30 caused by diabetes. She was used by the Kaiser Foundation in their experiments looking for a cure for diabetes. Mama died while on vacation of Massive Coronary caused by her diabetes at the young age of thirty-eight, leaving behind her husband, two daughters, and three grandchildren. Also surviving is her father, Albert Ragsdale, brother Rags, and sister Dyllis.

Mama came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior in 1964 at Calvary Baptist Church (under the ministry of Dr. H. Frank Collins) and became a compassionate soul winner. She witnessed to everyone she came in contact with, even witnessing to telemarketers when they called and door-to-door salesmen. A finer Christ-filled woman cannot be found.

Thank you to all who leave a flower & note. They are much appreciated and I know my Mama would be thrilled with all the roses. She used to tell us to not put roses on her grave if we never gave her one while living. We did, weekly, even if only one.

A very, VERY special THANK YOU to one of the gems of Find A Grave, Glenda Ragan, for gifting me a restored photo of Mama's stone. It's wonderful folks like you that make this site so great! Thank you!!!
